Hillary Clinton at the Democratic Convention in Denver

The PUMA political action committee is urging delegates to stick by Hillary Clinton and cast their votes for her at the Democratic nominating convention.

The thinking is that this would unify a divided party.

    I predict there will be an "October Surprise" but it will not come from the Republicans. Instead, I think the Clintons will release an ugly attack or something negative against Obama. I simply don't believe they want him to win. Instead, I think they will once again put their own interests above the Democratic Party and try to torpedo him in any way they can.

    Torpedoing Obama would be CONTRARY to the Clintons' best interests. Hillary is a shoe-in for the next democratic nomination, and going off on Obama when she has nothing to gain from it would immediately destroy any political capital she's accumulated within the democratic party. She'd be a pariah.
